CHILDRENS HOME IN SEREĎ
Children’s home in Sered was founded in the 1960s. After the main building was rebuilt in 2003, all children are accommodated in four separate apartments. One group has a maximum of 10 children.
In 2012, two more family houses were built, creating two specialized groups for children with mental disorders. The capacity of each of these groups is 7 children. In that year, two apartments for young adults were also created to support self-reliance.There can be set up children under 25 year of age,with the condition that they are studying or working. Today, the child’s home can provide home to 82 children and 57 personnel.
We decided to help the children’s home with the construction of a gazebo for which they lacked funds. The arbor will be placed in the relaxation zone at the Sered children’s home.
